Opportunity for experienced Physiotherapist to join our Aged Care team based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital - Royal Park Campus Parkville.


Your Opportunity:

  • The Aged Care Team provide physiotherapy services across the Geriatric Evaluation and Management Inpatient Unit and the Community Therapy Service. You will work within a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the physiotherapy management and discharge planning of complex patients.
  • This role would also involve supervision and development of the physiotherapy staff within your team and the provision of clinical teaching to tertiary students.

About You:

  • The successful candidate will be involved in the provision of the physiotherapy service, supervision and education of grade 1 physiotherapists and will be supported by our team of Senior Clinicians.
  • Experience in aged care physiotherapy patient management is essential for this role in addition to demonstrated skills in service development, and a strong ability to develop relationships with relevant stakeholders and team members from allied health, nursing and medical teams
