About Us:
Melbourne Health is seeking to recruit a Grade 4 CT Supervisor to its imaging workforce. The Radiology Department provides a 24 hour/7 day a week service, undertaking over 200,000 medical imaging examinations annually. Within CT, the annual activity exceeds 41,000 exams. The service is on the verge of operationalising the first Mobile Stroke Service in the Southern Hemisphere, coupled with the introduction of another CT in the coming months, the CT fleet will stand 5 units strong.
Beyond CT, modalities include MR, Ultrasound, General and Trauma Radiography (CR/DR), Theatre and Mobile Radiography, Angiography and Fluoroscopic procedures as well as Mammography.
The RMH Radiology department is one of the most highly regarded medical imaging sites in Australia. It is recognized for its high standards and the quality of staff employed. The department is fully equipped with state of the art equipment and over 120 highly trained Radiographers and Sonographers.

Melbourne Health is currently seeking a Grade 4 CT Radiographer. This position suits radiographers with extensive CT experience as the role has components of cutting edge service provision, clinical leadership, education, quality and research. The successful candidate will have completed post graduate studies in related field.

About you:
The successful applicant for this role will have both a high level of technical knowledge demonstrated through completion of relevant Post Graduate study and also have an acute awareness of the operational requirements to run a multi CT Department. You must be adaptable to an ever changing work environment and have a willingness to assist less experienced staff in their progression to becoming highly skilled CT Radiographers.
Working closely with the existing CT Supervisor and the Director of CT, this role is responsible for the provision of a high standard of imaging and service delivery within the department.
