The Opportunity:
The Telephone & Communications Department is a dedicated team of multi skilled staff, who provide a wide range of services over a 24 hour, 7 day a week period. Currently we are seeking a dedicated Switchboard Operator to join our team. Responsibilities will include operating an extremely busy switchboard, paging staff, updating information. This is a multidisciplinary role which may also include providing support in our mail room and information desk as required.
Ideally the successful candidate will possess:
- Call centre/switchboard experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Will have the ability to problem solve
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Will work well in a team environment and autonomously.
- Proficient PC skills, including Excel
Full training Monday – Friday will be provided to the successful candidate.
You may be required to rotate across Melbourne Health campuses
Available to work weekends and Public Holidays
