  • Part Time, Fixed Term Position, 64 hours per Fortnight (Until June 2020)
  • Inner Melbourne location, close to Victoria Market
  • This position would suit either a Registered Nurse (Grade 5),  Grade 4 Social Worker Grade 4 Occupational Therapist or Grade 4 Psychologist

The Royal Melbourne (RMH) is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

  • Make a difference to people who are homeless by developing service pathways to improve their access to ongoing healthcare and housing  
  • Identify what works in developing acute health services for homeless people
  • Build the service network both within the hospital and in the community

About You:

  • An experienced and dynamic health practitioner who is ready to help us develop services for homeless people at the RMH 
  • Value based behaviour and leading by example 
  • Experience working with people with complex needs, and a desire to improve physical health outcomes for people experiencing homelessness 
  • High level of motivation, reliability and professional conduct
  • Well-developed skills in writing, presentation and evaluation
