Your Opportunity:

  • To work as part of a dynamic team providing quality care to patients in an individual group setting.
  • Assist the physiotherapist in the provision of treatment programs for inpatients and outpatients in the acute hospital setting

About You:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate with a range of people, including patients, families/carers, and staff from other disciplines
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists
  • Ability to follow Network, hospital, and discipline-based policies and procedures
  • Administrative skills
  • Ability to use initiative and to implement new ideas and activities appropriately.
  • A commitment and ability to develop new skills and update knowledge
  • Awareness of and respect for clients’ individuality
