9 West is a busy surgical ward of 24 beds specialising in urology, vascular and surgical oncology. An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Ward Clerk to join our friendly team.


The Opportunity:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the ward and visiting clinical staff
  • Deliver reception duties as the main point of contact for the ward.
  • Documenting patient activity accurately and timely using our patient information systems
  • Organising and confirming timely patient follow post patient discharge

About You (Essential Requirements)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated team player with an ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary
  • Essential computer skills include word processing, Microsoft outlook and database up-keep
  • Demonstrated experience with office equipment including fax machines, printers and communication devices
  • Outstanding customer service skills
