Grade 4 Pharmacist – Intensive Care

About the Role:


Our new state-of-the art Intensive Care Unit is due to open in the coming months as part of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) project. It will be one of the biggest Intensive Care Units in Australia.   Your brief will be to lead pharmacy services to the unit and deliver high quality patient care and foster a culture of research and learning.  

Duties

  • Embed a high quality, patient focused pharmaceutical service to all intensive care patients
  • Develop new initiatives and systems to improve patient care
  • Manage a team of pharmacists to support services to critical care and across the care division
  • Provide mentoring and education across the multidisciplinary team
  • Develop a culture of practice research and learning within critical care

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Registered as a pharmacist with AHPRA
  • At least five years experience in critical care
  • High standing within the profession based on qualifications, awards, publications, membership of professional organisations, research commitments
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate a service
  • Highly developed interpersonal & organisational skills
  • Sound written oral & written communication skills
  • Relevant Post Graduate qualifications
