Your new team 

  • We are team working together to combat obesity and improve the physical health of mental health consumers
  • We enjoy a collaborative working environment and you will work closely with the physical health team
  • In return, you will be supported to engage in professional development and improve your skills

Your success in this role, will be in your ability to

  • Utilise your established clinical knowledge and skills to provide clinical services, leadership and supervision across IWAMHS
  • Contribute in the development of a broader physical health focus for people with mental illness
  • Work well in a team providing education, advice, health coaching and assessment
  • Utilise strong therapeutic skills to support and encourage awareness of physical health with consumers with chronic mental illness
  • Co-facilitate group activities and provide support to an in-reach health clinic

Your Contribution

  • Membership and accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA)
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, as well as ability to work in a team
  • Previous participation in service development and innovation
  • Computer literacy and high level organisational skills
