- Utilise your experience as an Instrument Technician
The Royal Melbourne Hospital Instrument Technician is responsible for the reprocessing and sterilisation services of instruments and consumables for on and off site facilities. As a member of the CSSD and Perioperative Services Department, Instrument Technicians work co-operatively within the team to ensure the needs of our patients and their families and carers are met in accordance with the Melbourne Health values.
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of the major trauma centres in Melbourne and offers excellent opportunities to increase your skills as an Instrument Technician. We are committed to supporting and developing our staff and offer assistance with education and training in Sterilisation Services.
To successful candidate/s will:
- Have a relevant Instrument Sterilisation Certificate
- Have a well-developed knowledge of the relevant standards
- Have proven, recent CSSD experience
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
