An exciting opportunity exists at The Royal Melbourne Hospital for an innovative and enthusiastic individual to join our Surgery, Perioperative, Trauma and Surgical Oncology Services team in the role of Scrub / Scout. Busy Melbourne Health theatres provide a high quality 24/7 service in our 14 operating rooms.
We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to work in our unit. This position comes with the expectation of clinical expertise. The successful applicant will share Melbourne Health vision to be "First in Care, Research & Learning"
In addition to this you will have the following:
• Ability to mentor and support to staff as required
• Knowledge of relevant legislation policies and human resource procedures
• Well developed computer and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to providing high quality patient care whilst working as effective member of a busy team.
* Completion of the postgraduate certificate would be highly regarded
