MSBase Foundation Administration Assistant |Based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital | Convenient location | Close to public transport | Discounted staff parking available The Opportunity: Applications are invited for this exciting and varied administrative role within the MSBase Foundation, a not for profit Australian Company, that operates the MSBase registry, a web based global Multiple Sclerosis research project. This role will provide the selected candidate with the opportunity to learn new skills as well as use their existing skills to contribute to the operation of the Foundation and facilitation of an important international registry. The Study coordinator will manage the administration aspects of one of the registry sub-studies as well as provide general administrative and clerical support to the Foundation including publication submission, report formatting, meeting arrangements; entering data into business spread sheets; filing; photocopying and preparation of materials for conferences; mail; and stationery orders. Applicants should have a bachelor degree with subjects that indicate excellent analytical and numeracy skills. Competency in a range of computer programs and cloud excellent organisational, administrative experience and good computer skills. The position is ideal for an applicant with an interest in a career in research administration and management. You will have Intermediate level computer skills including Word, Excel, use of the Internet, Dropbox, and Skype.
