About the Program:
Applications are now open for the Emergency Graduate Certificate in Nursing Practice program. The Graduate Certificate in Nursing Practice is conducted in collaboration with our affiliate university, The University of Melbourne (UoM). This course is open to Registered Nurses who have successfully completed a Graduate Nurse Program and have a minimum of 24 months post registration experience.
The course consists of four (4) subjects specific to the area of study undertaken. Subjects are delivered through a variety of teaching modalities, including lectures, tutorials, clinical simulation, online learning and worksheets. Assessment consists of assignments, clinical practice portfolios and reflective practice.
Applications should include a cover letter addressed to the Post Graduate Nursing Program Coordinator, clearly stating the stream being applied for, a curriculum vitae, your most recent academic transcript, and the contact details of two clinical referees. All applications will be assessed on letter of application, curriculum vitae, academic record, clinical experience, references and interview.
