We are seeking applications for passionate and experienced Registered Nurses with an interest for Rehabilitation in Aged Care to join the nursing team of 6 South East.

 

About the position:

6 South East is a busy 30 bed ward, caring for GEM patients retrieved from the Acute wards of The Royal Melbourne Hospital. These patients require extra therapy or discharge planning to achieve their most optimal discharge destination. Common conditions are orthopaedic, neurological and general medical issues. The diversity of these patients makes 6 South East a challenging and highly rewarding ward for nurses to exercise their skills.

Following a Patient Centred "Model of Care" to facilitate best practice, 6 South East strives to achieve patient focused outcomes for both our patients, and their families. Our nursing staff work closely with our dedicated Allied Health team to achieve best outcomes for all patients.

The successful applicant will be a dynamic and self motivated RN, with a strong commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused care.

Applicants must be able to work a rotating roster, including weekends and rotations onto Night Shift.
