We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated and resilient individual to join the Moreland Community Team as a Consumer Peer Support Worker.

 

This is a Part Time position, working 32 hours per fortnight, based primarily at our Bell St Coburg Campus

  • Provision of peer support and information to mental health consumers linked to our community teams
  • Empowering consumers to make their own choices about their recovery with an emphasis on strengthening their internal resources
  • Working closely with other lived experience and clinical staff of NWAMHS.
  • Supporting Group work

  • Have been or currently are a first- hand user of mental health services
  • Passionate about helping and supporting others
  • Interested in working as part of a team
  • Belief in personal Recovery and can support others on their Recovery journeys
