We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Aged Community Psychiatric teams.
This is a Part Time position, working 64 hours per fortnight, based at the Royal Park Campus of RMH.

• The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the clerical and receptionist duties of the Community Mental Health teams, coordinating the physical and telecommunication traffic throughout the area. Also assists with accurate documentation, transmission and storage of health information.
•This position entails liaising with nursing, medical and ancillary staff, hospital departments, patients and their significant others and the public.
• Under the direction of the Manager, the Administrative Assistant is required to undertake duties specific to the particular department.
• The role of the APMHP Administration Assistant is to deliver a professional customer focused service, often as the first point of contact for patients, families and others
• Promote a friendly, respectful, collaborative and supportive environment within the service and across the APMHP.
• Maintain medical records including filing reports, ensuring an adequate supply of patient labels (Bradmas) are made available for files, preparing and scanning documents to the Digital Medical Record, assisting community teams with scanning requirements as required. All records are to be maintained in accordance with organisational guidelines, policies and procedures and Health Information Service guidelines.
