Your Opportunity:

Melbourne Health has a Grade 1 Radiographer position available covering two theatre shifts on Thursday evening and Saturday as well as an additonal shift across our other areas of imaging. The Radiology Department provides a 24 hour/7 day a week service, undertaking over 210,000 medical imaging examinations annually. Modalities include MR, CT, Ultrasound, General and Trauma Radiography (CR/DR), Theatre and Mobile Radiography, Angiography and Fluoroscopic procedures as well as Mammography.

 

The RMH Radiology Department is one of the most highly regarded medical imaging sites in Australia. It is recognised for its high standards and the quality of staff employed. The department is fully equipped with state of the art equipment and over 120 highly trained Radiographers and Sonographers.

 

Our focus is to provide good patient outcomes by providing a high level of patient care and outstanding imaging quality using state of the art equipment and highly trained staff. We have a commitment to training, education and CPD activities are fully supported.

 

About You:

  • Once appropriately trained, it is expected that the successful applicant will be rostered to Mon-Fri day shifts, out of hours and weekend shifts as well as participating in the on-call roster where appropriate.
  • Applications are sought from Radiographers that either currently hold general AHPRA registration or will soon receive general AHPRA registration upon completion of their 2018 training schedule. It is a requirement that the successful applicant hold a Victorian Radiation Use Licence issued by The Department of Health prior to commencement.
