Quality Improvement Consultant

  • Part time, fixed term 12 months
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse G5, Allied Health G3, Admin G5
  • Key leadership role to ensure the highest quality in Inner West Area Mental Health Service

Inner West Area Mental Health Service – Royal Melbourne Hospital (IWAMHS-RMH) is committed to working with consumers during their recovery by offering holistic and evidence-based (EB) treatment, which is inclusive of family/carers and provided by clinicians with well-developed skills.

 

Your new role:

  • Key leadership role to ensure that the service that is provided is of the highest quality and meets a range of standards and best clinical practice for mental health service
  • Coordinate a development and implementation of quality and performance improvement activities
  • Provide support to staff and programs in relation to Accreditation activities
  • Contribute as a member of the IWAMHS clinical leadership team and participate in service review, planning, and development activities.
  • Contribute to organisation-wide and service/division initiatives and planning activities
  • Ensure that the teams understand the pillars of high quality services to consumers and their families/carers

About you:

  • Operate as a self-motivated, enthusiastic and well-organised mental health leader with a passion for provision of high quality, recovery focused services 
  • Provide information and support staff and teams to understand the service obligations in relation to service standards 
  • Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders 
  • Manage a broad range of issues simultaneously and prioritise effectively
