Your new role
- Provide leadership and support for the mental health Occupational Therapy (OT) workforce working across NorthWestern Mental Health. The role will work with current OT Leadership and education/training structure across NWMH to establish and coordinate mental health occupational therapy education, opportunities, and support.
- Provide support for the entry level OT workforce in NWMH and will therefore work in collaboration with the OT/SW ELP Co-ordinator and SW Clinical Educator(s).
- This position joins a growing team of Allied Health Educators, and will be responsible for responsibility based and/or geographically based portfolios. Some travel across the NWMH catchment will be required.
About You
- 10 years’ post-graduation occupational therapy experience in clinical mental health
- Experience in designing and delivering learning and development programs in either Occupational Therapy or Mental Health settings
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role and working with large and diverse groups of stakeholders
- Demonstrated skills and experience in professional (clinical) supervision; conducting training sessions and facilitating groups in a multidisciplinary context
