Occupational Therapist - Grade 1

  • Opportunities for experienced Grade 1 Occupational Therapists for rotational positions

Your new team

  • The Occupational Therapy team at the RMH are a friendly and supportive team working together to deliver excellent clinical care
  • We enjoy a collaborative working environment
  • You will help us achieve exceptional patient care within the areas of general medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, plastics, neurosciences, aged care, rehabilitation and community therapy services.
  • In return, you will be supported through supervision and professional development to develop your skills as a Grade 1 Occupational Therapist.
  • Rotations occur in February and August and are spread across City and Royal Park campuses, through acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and community services
  • The initial rotation will be determined once the successful applicant is appointed

Your success in this role, will be in your ability to

  • Learn and develop your professional skills in a fast paced hospital environment
  • Manage your time and prioritise your clinical load
  • Communicate effectively with patients, consumers and colleagues
  • Deliver evidence based best practice and contemporary models of care

Your Contribution

  • Existing workplace experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recognised degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • You are a quick learner and ready for a fast paced work environment.

These can be related to professional, extra-curricular, educational or other relevant experience and must be specific.
