Project Manager – Single Patient Administration System Business Case Development

  • Full Time, fixed term position + ADOs + salary packaging

  • Analyse the business needs and strategic requirements relating to the adoption of a single PAS across the Parkville precinct.
  • Proactively facilitate business case discussions between the Parkville Information Technology (IT), Health Information Services (HIS) and EMR teams, other key health service stakeholders and solution vendors.

Your new role:

  • Analyse the business needs and strategic requirements relating to the adoption of a single PAS across the Parkville precinct.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for system redesign and development.
  • Work closely with business owners, operational and clinical staff to analyse current state 'end to end' PAS workflows (including patient registration, admission, transfer, discharge, billing, coding, reporting and elective surgery bookings)
  • Proactively facilitate business case discussions between the Parkville Information Technology (IT), Health Information Services (HIS) and EMR teams, other key health service stakeholders and solution vendors.

 

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Health Information, Project Management, Health Management or related field
  • Informatics certification or related qualification highly desirable
  • Demonstrable experience developing and writing high quality, accurate business and options cases within the health sector
  • Proven experience with business case development, writing, and review for large and complex projects
