The Royal Melbourne Hospital is part of Melbourne Health providing specialist and general acute health services. Primarily serving the north western communities of Melbourne, RMH also provides state-wide and specialist services to rural and regional Victorians.

North Western Breastscreen is auspiced by Melbourne Health with direct links to to the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Women's Hospital breast service. North Western BreastScreen screens approximately 45,000 women per year and provides assessment and biopsy services.
