Mental Health Clinician (SW2/OT2/RPN3/P2)| North West Area Mental Health Service | Brunswick Community Team | Part Time- Ongoing position.

- Part Time – Ongoing position, 64 hours per fortnight.

 

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and adaptable Community Mental Health Clinician to work with the NWAMHS - Brunswick Community Mental Health Team. We are seeking a clinician with at least 2 years of clinical experience that has an interest in utilising their exceptional skills across the range of mental health assessments and treatments using a Recovery focus of care.

 

The Brunswick Community Mental Health Team is an integral program of North West Area Mental Health service. We provide services for adults whom are experiencing mental illness who require either short, medium or longer term support or care. Consumers reside in the City of Moreland & Hume.

 

Although this position primarily provides acute assessment and intervention, the Brunswick Team operates from an integrated model and as such also involves provision of care to a caseload of consumers requiring acute, medium or longer term support. This position requires morning, evening and weekend work across 7 day rostering

 

Essential Requirements for the Role:

The successful applicant will have a sound working knowledge of the recovery framework and Mental Health Act 2014 along with other relevant legislations. The successful applicant will be able to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, monitoring and treatment to consumers of the Coburg Community Team.

NWMH is a clinical service of Melbourne Health and operates in partnership with Northern Health and Western Health.

 

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory police records check. Successful applicants will also be required to provide a record of Immune Status to vaccine preventable diseases or evidence of an immunisation assessment prior to commencement.
