Administration Assistant - Occupational Violence and Aggression Team

  • Be part of a critical service that supports staff to address Occupational Violence and Aggression
  • Central location in North Melbourne
  • Part-time role (16-20 hours per week) with flexible hours across 4 days per week

Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) Staff Consultancy Service is an innovative, leading consultancy service supporting staff across the Royal Melbourne Hospital, City and Royal Park Campuses and Residential Aged Care Services, to deliver safe care to patients and consumers, and provide a safe environment for visitors. The OVA service supports staff in planning strategies to respond to OVA incidences and leads the Management of Clinical Aggression training.

 

 

Your new role:

Working within the broader People and Culture team, this role will provide high level customer service, advice and administrative support to the Occupational Violence and Aggression Staff Consultancy Service. This includes ensuring minutes, action trackers and training records are appropriately managed and actioned.

 

  • Administration and support to OVA Consultancy Service.
  • Efficient management of MOCA training including room bookings and confirming attendees.
  • Accurate data entry of training records into the Learning Management System, Training Database and excel spreadsheets.

 

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in administration roles with intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy with applications including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communications skills in both verbal and written
  • Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation and attention to detail skills
  • Innovative, resourceful and adaptive to change
