About the program:
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our ICU team. This is a Part Time, Fixed Term position, working 64 hours per fortnight, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
- Program commencement date is Monday, July 3rd 2023
- Flexible rostering options including 8 and 12 hour shift options (conditions apply)

- Major traumatic injuries
- Haematological emergencies
- Obstetric emergencies
- Cardiothoracic surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Respiratory failure
- Renal failure
- Sepsis and multi-organ failure
- Infectious disease

The RISE Program:
- The RISE ICU program is open to Registered Nurses with at least 1 year acute clinical experience
- This educational program offers clinical education and supervision, support and exposure, and will advance your clinical practice in Intensive Care Nursing. This supported educational program will advance clinical practice by providing evidence based theoretical and clinical education through development of critical thinking and problem solving skills
- This 6 month training program incorporates interactive online learning, tutorials and workshops, self directed learning and assessments
- Participants will be supported clinically within the workplace
- Program length is six (6) months with six (6) months consolidating in the clinical setting
