Your Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exist to join the Department of Genomic Medicine and The Parkville Familial Cancer Centre (PFCC) based at RMH City Campus, Parkville and The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
The Centre is a comprehensive genetic service providing diagnosis, counselling and support to adults with a variety of genetic disorders. The Genetic Referrals Coordinator will work closely across the Intake, Data Management and Administration teams to support clinicians, genetic counsellors and associate genetic counsellors to:
- Ensure our patients and their families receive an excellent service
- Ensure a smooth patient journey through our service from referral, booking, registration, clinic admin through to billing
The position is a Part Time, Fixed Term role working 48 hours per fortnight, for 12 months.
About You:
- High levels of computer literacy and considerable experience using health information/research databases
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team
- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical clinic setting
