Applications are invited for advanced trainee registrar positions in Geriatric Medicine based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Trainees will be provided with a comprehensive training program which includes geriatric evaluation and management, dementia assessment unit, acute aged care including ortho-geriatrics and trauma, rehabilitation, Aged Care Assessment Service, specialist community based programs, multidisciplinary clinics and various forms of residential care. The Aged Care program also provides an inpatient consultant service to the City campus. The Royal Melbourne Hospital has a variety of roles available in 2016 to support flexible training.

A part-time role (0.5) for 2016 in the transition care program at the Royal Park Campus of the Royal Melbourne Hospital has become available at short notice. This is an accredited position in the advance training program, but suitably experienced trainees from general medicine or other internal medicine fields would be considered.
