- The Chief OT is responsible for the professional leadership of occupational therapists in the service who deliver recovery-focussed, person-centred care to consumers of the service
- The role builds best practice in the occupational therapy domain, ensuring service users have the opportunity of participating in evidence-based interventions in the areas of activity, participation and vocation
- The Chief OT will be joining the service at an exciting time of service expansion and development within the Area Mental Health Service following the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well with colleagues, stakeholders and other professional leaders

- Excellent written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
- Capacity to think creatively in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to prepare reports promptly
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
