Residential In Reach  - Clinical Lead

 

  • Senior Nursing Role - Clinical Leadership 
  • Permanent Role – Full Time hours with ADO

The Residential In Reach (In Reach) service aims to reduce unnecessary presentations to the Emergency Department by providing acute support, early intervention and patient focused healthcare within Residential Aged Care Facilities.

 

The service is staffed by a team of clinical nurse consultants, with expertise in the areas of gerontology and emergency care, as well as Geriatrician clinical lead and Medical staff.

 

The clinical lead role of the Residential In Reach team provides visible and accessible clinical leadership to the clinical nurse consultant group and leadership and management of the service. The role will work predominantly in a supervisory capacity, with opportunity for clinical reviews to support the team and provide supervision.

 

Your new role:

  • Partner with key personnel in the organisation and in the state, to support innovation and growth in the care of the resident in aged care.
  • Leadership and Management to a small team of senior nurses

 

About you:

  • Clinical expertise and experience working in acute setting
  • Collaborative working style
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development
  • AHPRA registered Nurse
